Spread love…… not only on Valentine’s Day but every moments to your love ones . And this valentines treat I shared is very easy to make…. I used a almond cookie, some fondant, royal icing , edible disco dust…..

Ingredients:For the Almond Cookie:

  • 3 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp pure almond extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 egg

For the Decoration:

  • 100 grams red fondant
  • 50 grams white fondant
  • 1/2 cup royal icing
  • Some edible disco dust

METHOD:

  1. To make the almond cookie; in a bowl combine flour and baking powder and set aside, then in other bowl cream the butter and sugar using handmixer until pale color and creamy then add the egg and almond extract mix well to combine then gradually add the flour mixture mix until form a soft dough, wrap with the plastic wrap and chilled for about 30 minutes…
  2. When the dough is completely chilled floured the work surface and roll the dough then cut using a heart shape cookie cutter( at this recipe around 18-20 cookie can make) then put back to the fridge for about 15-20 minutes before start baking.
  3. Bake the cookie at 350 F for about 7-10 minutes, then let it cool on the cooling rack for about an hour before decorating.
  4. To decorate, roll the fondant and cut using heart shape cookie cutter and stick to the cookie and sealed using royal icing, and also use a butterfly cutter, flower cutter to decorate to the cookie. And you can dust some edible disco dust as you want. It’s easy to make right?
